Creative Society are an arts charity that supports a diverse range of young people seeking to work in the creative sector.
They wanted to increase activity across their social platforms, website and email newsletters to increase awareness of the charity’s activities and encourage sign-ups from young people.
We developed strategies for each social platform, developing a content calendar to plan posts to coincide with future events and campaigns, maximising impact.
We also increased activity on the website with regular updates about events and fundraising. This extended to a regular newsletter that summarises monthly charity activity.
We saw overall increases in engagements and followers across all social platforms with more enquiries from young people regarding Creative Society’s services and events.
Throwing Digital Sheep was severely lacking content on the Nintendo section of the site. The aim was to increase the overall readership of the site and a desire to improve engagement with the audience using social media.
I wrote regular news articles to address updates in the industry . I also wrote in-depth game reviews to inform readers on their purchases. We then developed a social media strategy to produce short social media content, emphasising discussions with our readers.
We immediately saw an increase to our readership with visits to the Nintendo section steadily increasing. We also noticed readers engaging more with articles by commenting and sharing. The same trend followed on social media, especially Facebook.
